Marketing automation is a technology that allows organizations to streamline, automate and measure marketing programs, campaigns, tasks and workflows. Marketing Programs supported by automation platforms include lead generation and acquisition campaigns, onboarding, nurture and engagement as well as cross-sell, up-sell, win back and referral marketing. Unfortunately many organizations think of marketing automation solutions as an email platform and do not focus on the Omni channel capabilities of today’s automation technology.

Senior Vice President of Product
Jay Henderson is senior vice president of Product for Acoustic. His team is responsible for product management, product strategy, and product design. Jay has over twenty-five years of experience in campaign management, analytics, and marketing technology. He’s held senior product positions at IBM, Unica, and SPSS. Jay holds degrees from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and the Sorbonne (Paris IV).
April Mullen is a proven digital marketing leader currently focusing on strategy and marketing for SparkPost. Bringing experience from over 13 years on the agency, martech and brand sides of relationship marketing, Mullen understands the complexities and challenges that face marketers in today’s competitive environment.
Outside of SparkPost, Mullen has been an Adjunct Professor of Digital Marketing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. In June of 2016, Mullen co-founded Women of Email, an organization with nearly 4,000 members on six continents that is aimed at driving positive change for women in the email marketing niche.
Mullen has received multiple industry awards and represents thought leadership at conferences and through writing for industry publications, including Forbes and MediaPost.
