This Thursday, August 11, South Florida Interactive Marketing Association members and guests will be in the presence of one of the most influential speakers and innovators of disruptive technological trends and what they mean for the future of business, customer experiences, and future decision making cycles. Brian Solis is a best-selling author and the principal analyst at Altimeter Group, a Prophet Company.
Solis will be leading a presentation fit for marketers, senior executives, and entrepreneurs of all companies and industries. The digital landscape leaves no industry out of its reach and the future of a company’s brand lies in the experience that Millennials have created in a technologically evolving world. Millennials are motivated to share their life, share their experiences, and they ultimately shape modern and future business models.
Solis believes that marketers represent the future of what he calls “experience architecture”, so on August 11, Solis will join South Florida IMA members and guests to explain why experiences matter, what an experience truly means in a modern, digital world, and how companies can get better at creating experiences for a new generation of customers.
Solis will reveal the following at the August South Florida IMA event:
How to design a desired, meaningful and uniform experience in a fun way
- Using empathy and new perspectives to unlock creativity and innovation
- How our own experiences get in the way of designing for people who are not like us
- The humanity of human-centered design in all you do
Brian Solis is the author of best-selling book X: The Experience Where Business Meets Design– The future of business is X – Experience, which will be on sale for $25 at the event. His book explores why great products are no longer good enough to win over customers. In the digital age, it is all about the customer experience, and Solis navigates through the process of creating and cultivating meaningful customer experiences in order to take your business into the future and to a whole other level. Solis’s book takes readers through the customer experience that he details, as it was written using the same logic it presents.
Solis is a well-known digital analyst, anthropologist, and futurist who studies the effects of emerging technologies on businesses and society. His research has helped executives, celebrities, marketers, and everyday consumers better understand the relationship between evolution and technology – uncovering how people hold the most important role in the technological evolution and how it shapes brands and business models, and the consumer experience.
Solis is a LinkedIn Influencer, a sought-after speaker, a noted blogger, and has numerous publications that serve as industry references.
The event will take place on Thursday, August 11 at 6:30 p.m., at the Antique Car Museum in Fort Lauderdale.
