The South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA) today announced that Michelle Carroll, Founder of 1 Stop Marketing Solutions, has been unanimously elected to serve as SFIMA President through 2026. Carroll brings more than two decades of dedicated board service to the role, making her one of the organization’s most experienced and trusted leaders.
Her election marks the beginning of a new chapter for SFIMA — one focused on strengthening member value, expanding programming, and accelerating growth across South Florida’s dynamic marketing and technology community.
“SFIMA has always been about real relationships, real learning, and real momentum. It honored by the board’s unanimous support, and I am ready to build on what we’ve created — helping SFIMA grow, evolve, and continue to be the go-to community for marketers in South Florida.
— Michelle Carroll, President, SFIMA
Built to Last: A Post-Pandemic Growth Story
Carroll’s election builds on the foundation laid by outgoing leadership. SFIMA recognized the multi-year stewardship of Peter Leshaw (Director of Programming) and Joe Laratro (Past President, 2nd Vice Chair), who led the organization through the pandemic — a period when many face-to-face professional associations shut down permanently. Under their leadership, SFIMA not only survived but continued to grow its membership and regional impact.
“As proud as we are of helping SFIMA weather the pandemic and come back
stronger, the most important thing now is the future. Michelle has the drive and the
vision to keep SFIMA growing, and we’re fully behind her.”
— Peter Leshaw, Director of Programming, SFIMA
“Michelle is exactly the kind of leader SFIMA needs right now. We’re excited to support her as she leads SFIMA forward through 2026.”
— Joe Laratro, Past President (2nd Vice Chair),
